A smarter thermostat schedule starts with your actual routine
Small adjustments can reduce run time without sacrificing comfort.
Set a schedule around when the building is occupied or the household is awake. Give the system enough time to return to a comfortable setting before people arrive. Watch the result for a week rather than changing settings every day. If the space still feels uneven, the thermostat may not be the main issue; airflow and equipment condition can matter more.
